5. Edit rooms without changing their storey assignment

5. Edit rooms without changing their storey assignment How rooms, their size and geometry can be edited while the room remains on the same storey Amritha Krishnan

The storey a room or space belongs to is determined by the vertical location of the base of the room in Massing, or base of the flooring in BIM.

The following edits can be done to rooms without affecting the storey to which they belong:

  • Any edits in any horizontal direction

  • Moving edge or vertex in the vertical direction

  • Extrusion in any direction

  • Scaling in any direction that doesn't move the base of the room
