Splitting faces of rooms to extend them

Splitting faces of rooms to extend them How to split a face or surface of a room and use extrude to edit the geometry of the room Amritha Krishnan

To edit a room partially, click on the Split Face tool.

Click on one edge or vertex of the room to place the start point of the split.

Click on a point on another edge or on another vertex to place the second point of the split.

Now you can use the Extrude tool to extrude part of the room outwards.
