In this article, you'll learn how to automatically create a program using the AI program creator in the Program Mode on Snaptrude.
Prompting to Generate Program
Step 1: In AI Program Creator panel (left side of the screen), input the prompt required for creating the program. This prompt can include the typology of the project, details about the site such as site area, location, FAR, building norms, etc.
Step 2: Then hit 'Enter' on the keyboard or click on the arrow button. The program will be generate based on the prompt.
Note: The program creator makes certain assumptions during creation in case it doesn't have the necessary information in some cases. We recommend adding in as much accurate information required for your project program while prompting.
Once the program is generated, the spaces are created with the respective area & count and are categorized departments.
Attach Documents for Program Creation
You also have the option to upload files such as RFP, Building Codes, Local Guidelines etc as PDF to assist in program creation. Note that the file limit is 30mb for this.
Step 1: Drag and drop a file from your system into the prompt box or click on the clip icon and attack documents in the open window. You can also upload multiple files simultaneously given the file limits are below 30mb.
Step 2: You can also enter a prompt with your attached document to provide better context for the program creator. Then hit 'Enter'.
The program will generate based on the document (and prompt) provided. You can continue to edit and re-prompt as necessary.
Re-prompting to update the program
You're free to edit the program created directly if necessary.
Or, simply re-prompt and adjust as needed. For instance re-prompt to update areas, change the count, add or delete departments, or regenerate the entire brief. Any changes will automatically update in your program.
Once the program is generated you can continue editing it in using the other columns within the Program Mode. Learn more about it in the About Program Mode tutorial.
