This tutorial provides a comprehensive guide on Isolating objects including spaces, BIM elements, furniture, door, windows, etc on Snaptrude. The Isolate tool is applicable in both 3D and 2D modes.
Isolate objects
Step 1: Begin by selecting the objects to isolate.
There are several ways to select multiple objects on Snaptrude:
(a) Press and hold the Control/Command key and use the left mouse button to choose the objects. The chosen objects will be added to the selection.
(b) Alternatively, use the Selection Marquee tool. Simply click and drag the selection box from left to right to multi-select objects.
(c) The third method is to use the Filter Selection and Storey Selection.
Step 2: After completing the selection, go to the bottom toolbar and click on Isolate or use the "/" key as a shortcut.
The chosen objects are now isolated.
Show hidden Objects
To make the hidden objects visible again, navigate to the 'Show All' tool and click. Alternatively, use U as a shortcut key.
