Smart Labelling

What is Smart Labelling?

Smart labelling is a new way to name your spaces on Snaptrude. You can use the labels from a pre-defined list we’ve created or designate a mass by a custom label.

On choosing a label from our pre-defined list, the space will take up the respective label’s properties of height, material and storey position in the Y-Axis.

How to label a space on Snaptrude?

To label a space, double-click on the space or object you want to label, on seeing a text box come up all you need to do is start typing out the name of the space and hit enter on your keyboard. Once you do that, the space or object has been labelled. This label will now represent the object across the Snaptrude project, from its object properties, BOQ, Area statements and costing.

How to Smart Label a space on Snaptrude?

The process to smart label a space or an object is the same as you would a regular label on Snaptrude. Snaptrude takes your input and automatically assigns a height, thickness or material to that particular space or object.

Please note, that some of these Smart Labels change height, thickness or material, and some of these labels will only auto-fill your text and may not change the physical property of the space.

Here’s a list of Smart labels that change the object's and space's physical properties.
