Copy/Paste using “Ctrl + C” and “Ctrl + V”
Updated over 2 months ago

Use the keyboard shortcuts “Ctrl+ C” and “Ctrl+ V” to copy and paste objects between projects of a team as well as within the same project across storeys/levels. Objects will be pasted with the same origin point & orientation as it's source location. Follow these steps to copy elements across and within projects:

Step 1: Select all the elements you wish to copy.

Step 2: Use the 'Ctrl+C' shortcut to duplicate the selected elements.

Step 3: Proceed to the project where the elements will be inserted. You can either create a new project or open an existing one.

Step 4: Navigate to the 2D view of the corresponding floor to paste the elements using the keyboard shortcut 'Ctrl+V'. Alternatively, you can also paste these elements directly in the 3D view as well.

Note: The pasted elements will retain their original orientation and position from the source they were copied from. Moreover, they remain selected after pasting, allowing you to then easily move them to the desired location.

Step 6: Repeat the process to copy elements within the same project.
