Changing the shape of a mass using Add Vertex

Edit the shape of a mass in the plan view by adding new vertices that can be moved to create new corners.

Adding a vertex on the edge of one room will also add it to the adjacent room that shares the edge. Editing any of the resultant colinear edges will create a new perpendicular edge between them.

To add a vertex to a mass, go to the Design tab and click on the Add vertex icon. Place the cursor on the face you want to split, then click once; the edges will be split. You can then use the edit length tool (shortcut "P") to push or pull the split vertex as needed.
