Locking and Unlocking Objects
Updated over a week ago

This tutorial provides a walkthrough on locking and unlocking elements in Snaptrude. This feature alters the editable properties of elements, making it especially useful when working with AutoCAD, JPG, or PDF files for floor plan references. It prevents the elements from being moved or rotated unknowingly.

Lock Elements

Step 1: Select the elements that need to be locked. Then, right-click on the selected elements to open a context menu and select the 'Lock' option.

Step 2: The selection box for these elements will turn red, signifying that the elements are locked and cannot be edited, i.e., they cannot be moved, copied, rotated, etc until unlocked.

Unlock Elements

Right-click on the locked element that needs to be unlocked. From the menu, select the 'Unlock' option. After unlocking, the selection box turns blue indicating that these elements can be edited as required.
